Social Studies Leader Award
The Social Studies Leader Award honors a group or an individual in Ohio for service promoting social studies principles. Leaders may be administrators, political leaders, or other professionals who have made a significant contribution to the field of social studies. Social Studies Leader receives a plaque, one day paid registration for the annual conference (the day the award is presented), $100.00 cash award, and publicity in their hometown newspaper.If you know someone or a group who demonstrates the qualities of a Social Studies Leader, please contact OCSS Vice-President Sarah Kaka at sjkaka@owu.edu
